Florida Clinical Laboratory opened its doors in October 2002 with the primary objective of becoming the lab of choice for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF’s) and Assisted Living Facilities (ALF’s).Because the laboratory is independent of a hospital or physicians group it can provide routine results faster than most facilities can provide STAT results. All of the patients results can be accessed via a secure internet connection. Also, through their web site, Nurses can graph most results.
This trending allows the nursing staff to detect necessary medication changes as well as possible undiagnosed disease states. Tired of digging through the chart to get the physician a previous result? We provide daily cumulative reporting to facilitate this request. Monthly and quarterly epidemiology reports are provided by our Microbiology department to help treat your residents with the most effective antibiotic.

Florida Clinical Laboratory will also provide self pay discounts to help those without health insurance. Paternity testing, drug screens, and infertility tests are some of the additional services the laboratory provides. There is plenty of parking and no appointment is necessary. Most patients are in and out of the door in less than 10 minutes. Saturday hours are also available.
